Bald Rock and Girraween (National Parks)

Bald Rock NP, New South Wales

There are more bald rocks around here than you can stick a poke at,
like 'the pyramids' across the border in Girraween
You just need to go interstate to visit them.

Girraween NP Qld.

Girraween means 'place of flowers'.
It's no wonder there's so many flowering rocks around.
Wildflowers don't care where they grow.

Granite Arch

The meeting of the waters was so dry.
It was called off.

The Sphinx.

In Girraween, like the wildrocks, wildflowers grow everywhere.

You belong among the wildflowers...

You belong somewhere you feel free

Underground Creek.
Hikers search high and low for it.
It's a little difficult to find.

Mt Norman at sunset

'What are you looking at?' asked the wild bower
bird. 'Move along, there's nothing to see here.'
As the camera clicked the shutter...
or the shutter pressed the clicker
'Except for the wild bower.'
said the birder.

Girraween, land of the giant tors.
One such tor is Mt Norman

The Pyramids

She's gone and neglected the pale wildwood flower.
