Photos of the 2012 'The North Face' Philippines trail run
Me again. very good photos there, Martin, you can really see the steepness of the rugged mountains that you all treaded on for the race. That's some challenge and Well done!
I've started running and I'm hoping to run my first 5K this year. But right now, granny runners who are way fitter than me have more endurance and will have better time. So I'll have to train further before attempting my first. However, I'd be happy with 40 min for my first. Lately, my performance level is 4.3K for 35 min so I'm still far off. And that's also within the confines of an airconditioned gym, different from running outside on a flat surface and under the sun where conditions may be a bit tougher.
So anyway, I'll keep training and see if my time gets better. Keep running...
Very good Kristine! You're well on the way to a fulfilling running journey. You're an early starter, like me he he I started in my early 40s, and you'res till in your mid-30s. Mang Joe (http://www.blogger.com/profile/16878731560588157839) started way later but you should see his running resume - very impressive. He's doing ultras now I believe. a 40-minute 5km is a great starting time. I think 40 minutes is the time for my first 500m. might see you at some 5k parkrun soon then. or the next baguio running event. well done, and keep us posted.
